The band have dumped a ton of material on iTunes,
including two enormous rarities compilations. There are
25 tracks from the I.R.S. years between 1982 and 1987, and then there's the
Warner Bros. collection featuring 131 tracks between 1988 and 2011.
The
I.R.S. comp features studio covers of Roger Miller's "King of the
Road", Andy Williams' "Moon River", and the Velvet Underground tracks
"Pale Blue Eyes" and "There She Goes Again".
The Warner Bros.
comp features live performances from Glastonbury and "Saturday Night
Live", plus covers of Syd Barrett's "Dark Globe" and Leonard Cohen's
"First We Take Manhattan".
They've also made their
Record Store Day Unplugged set available
digitally.
It features their complete 1991 and 2001 performances on MTV's
"Unplugged" and 11 tracks that never aired. They've also mastered all of
their albums for iTunes.
